Byron Bay

Friday 10 June

Hello Sunshine.  What a spectacular day.  Shorts and t-shirt weather, we were peeling off layers.  This morning we had morning tea with Jan, a lovely lady who worked with Rick down in Melbourne last year at the Byron Bay Beach Café.  A lovely spot just next door to the caravan park with beautiful food and an amazing view.  The kids coloured in and ate their way through the morning.  Talk about paradise (the view and the food) on a day like today.  On to the next adventure, we scootered into town and played on the beach, collecting shells and checking out the shapes someone had made in the sand. Sadly it ended when Zachie got sand in both eyes and we had to make a mad dash to the chemist to buy some saline to wash them clean. Traumatised and needing  Rick took Zach to the pub for a sleep (that doesn’t sound right) and I took the kids for a look around town and quick trip to Mimco.  Got to love a sale,
